Fall Mini Sessions Are BACK!!!

I've been so busy all year long with kid activities!! So busy that I almost let this season get by me too.  But, I just couldn't do it.  I love Fall way too much!!  SO, with that I've opened a date for Fall Mini Sessions.  October 25th at the beautiful Sully Historic Plantation in Chantilly, VA.  I have eight spots available that day, each lasting just 30 minutes.  You'll get all your digital retouched images on a CD with the print release (guaranteed 10-20 images).

These photos will make wonderful Christmas presents for  your loved ones - you don't want to miss out!!!

Richardson Family Spring Photos

One of my favorite things about this job is getting to see how my clients and their families change from one session to the next.  I first met the Richardson Family a little over a year ago when I was just starting out.  They answered my ad for families who were willing to let me practice on them, and they've been clients ever since!

I was just working on their photos from this past Sunday and then decided to compare some from our first session a year ago.  Check out how much they've changed in the past year .. especially little Abby!

Mitchell's 1st Birthday Shoot!

This was my THIRD time photographing this sweet little monkey and he only just turned one.  I love hanging out with him and his fun family!!  This past Sunday was Mitchell's 1st birthday photo shoot.  We started with some typical "ONE" shots, I got his initial, so we could do some with that, then we moved on to pictures with balloons, family shots and finally his cake smash session!  Those are always SO MUCH FUN!!  Here are a few more sneak peek photos from Mitchell's first birthday photo shoot. Mitchell Turns One!!

Sweet baby Mitchell turned one on Saturday, and I got to be there to photograph his special day. :)  I just love this beautiful family!  Meeting all their extended family was so nice also, everyone was so welcoming!  I've already got a sneak peek of some of the images up on my Facebook page, but I wanted to post a few here too. 

Mama is one awesome party planner, btw!  Just check out all the amazing decorations ... so many extra little touches that really go such a long way!  Enjoy! :)

Welcome!!

Welcome, clients, to the new and improved Photos by Heather Z. website.  I'm so happy with how this one turned out.  It encompasses everything I've been wanting in a website for my business, and I think it should be pretty easy to navigate.

Very quickly I'd just like to thank everyone for the continued support.  Without you all I wouldn't be fortunate enough to have a career I love!

Sneak Peeks will continue to be posted on Facebook sometime within 24 hours of your photo session, however, I will be using my blog here to write a little about the session and share some extra photos.

Today I begin my 2014 Photo Season with a very special 1st birthday party.  I'm so excited!! So, be on the lookout in the next few days for a blog post from today's birthday party and of course the sneak peek, which will be posted on Facebook either this evening or sometime tomorrow.
